Cooper: Week 2

Cooper is doing MUCH better this week and is able to walk around pretty easily, even though he is still on bed rest. The plan is to take him back to the vet next week for an x-ray to make sure the bone has healed properly and fully. Hopefully next week he can be off bed rest and able to walk around. He's so sick of being in his bed he moans and groans and sometimes makes up his own little games where he lays on his side and puts his paws together and then extends his legs and then brings them back together. If I get a picture of that I will post it. The bad news is that when we are around, I take his cone off and hes licked a few scabs open where we had to bandage him back up, so thats why you see the bandaid :) Looking forward to taking him on walks in the evenings to strengthen him back up!!
